What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?

That's a great question. I'm fortunate enough to work in an industry that gets to help people with disabilities. We help people with disabilities access the web, and that's a very fulfilling job.

Not everyone is going to find that specific mission-driven job. It's difficult to find that perfect company if you're in the workforce. I know it's unrealistic to find a company that can provide that for you.

So, I'll take a step back and say, what do I love about the tech industry, specifically B2B tech? I love how fast it moves and the problems it brings. It's an ever-changing world with AI and so much else. You need to stay on your toes, and it challenges you every day.

The second part is how difficult it is. I've realized that I love the challenge and the competition. I think competition is healthy for any organization and pushes you to become better consistently.

From a B2B sales perspective, it is an awesome, challenging world that will push you. Also, there are great benefits in tech; you'll always have very good benefits for most organizations I've seen.

You'll have great coworkers, great benefits, and a great work culture with most companies. But it is fast and intense. I also like the ability to work anywhere. Working a remote, digital job allows me to work from anywhere. I've lived in a van for a year and traveled while working. I've done things that allow me to focus on balance and also fulfill my drive to move forward.
