FOR SUPPORTERS, VOLUNTEERS & PARTNERS
Work shouldn't be a black box. For any student.
The Advize Foundation exists to capture, maintain, and expand the largest structured library of real-world career video interviews and to keep a free version of Advize available for any student. Career clarity should not depend on who you know, what school you attend, or what you can afford.
Keep career insight free · Open to every student · No institution required
THE PROBLEM
Career clarity has always depended on who you know.
Students can read thousands of reviews on a pair of jeans before buying them. But when it comes to choosing a career — a decision that shapes their entire future — they're left with a handful of outdated job descriptions, biased opinions, and whatever their family happens to know.
The resources that exist weren't built to keep up.
Job descriptions describe a role but can't show you what it feels like. Career guides go stale. Salary aggregators capture a snapshot of a workforce that won't stop moving. The tools students rely on most were built for a different era.
Career insight has always flowed through informal networks.
The student with a parent in finance knows what finance looks like. The one without that network doesn't. Access to real professional perspective has never been equitably distributed — and without deliberate infrastructure, it won't be.
A student's trajectory shouldn't be determined by their zip code.
Structured career transparency should function like public infrastructure — available to every student, regardless of institution, background, or income. That's not an aspiration. It's a design principle.
Another student picks a path they can't see clearly, enters a role they didn't understand, and wonders why nobody showed them this sooner.
WHY WE BUILT THIS
We've spent years making the workforce visible. The Foundation ensures it stays that way.
Advize was built by people who lived the wrong career path and spent years making sure students don't have to. We've captured thousands of real professional interviews across industries and roles, structured, searchable, and matched to where students actually are.
The premium platform funds the mission. But the Foundation ensures the mission doesn't stop at the paywall. We've partnered with organizations like Khan Academy, Minds Matter, and Alliance Public Schools, because we believe every student deserves to see what's possible, not just the ones whose institutions can afford it.

WHAT THE FOUNDATION FUNDS
Building the library. Keeping it open. Paying students to grow it.
The Advize Foundation protects and expands the public layer of Advize. That means funding the capture, maintenance, and expansion of structured career insight — and ensuring that access does not narrow as the platform grows. Students outside partner institutions can still explore. Core insight remains available regardless of income or geography. Always.
1
Build & maintain the open interview library
We fund the capture, organization, and continuous expansion of structured professional interviews across industries and roles — updated as the workforce evolves. Interview production, content tagging, platform infrastructure, and ongoing expansion are all covered.
Interview production · Content tagging · Platform infrastructure · Ongoing expansion
2
Keep access open
While universities and employers license advanced tools through the premium platform, foundational career insight stays publicly available — free to any student, regardless of whether their institution is a partner. Open access is not a marketing tactic. It is a principle.
Free for students · No institution required · No paywall on core insight
3
Fund paid student interviewers
We pay students to source and conduct structured virtual interviews with professionals across industries — building real workforce skills while expanding access for others. Students aren't just users of career insight. They help build it.
Paid internship · Real skill development · Mission-tied opportunity
WHAT'S AT STAKE
Left to market forces, career clarity becomes a privilege.
Not just for this generation of students — but for every one that follows.
FOR STUDENTS
The visibility and access gaps widen.
Without open infrastructure, the students most affected by limited professional networks are the last to benefit from structured career insight — and the first to make irreversible decisions with incomplete information.
FOR THE WORKFORCE
Talented people end up in the wrong roles
65% of Gen Z leave their first job within a year. Not because they lack ambition, but because nobody showed them what the work actually looked like before they said yes.
FOR SOCIETY
Career inequality compounds over time.
When access to career insight depends on zip code, network, or tuition level, the gap between those who land well and those who don't keeps widening generation after generation.
If you believe career transparency should be public infrastructure, there's a place for you here.
THE FUTURE WE'RE BUILDING
A world where no student chooses a path without being able to see it first.
Career knowledge that's structured and comparable
Not a patchwork of LinkedIn bios, job descriptions and social media posts.
A library that reflects the workforce as it actually is
Continuously updated as roles shift. Not frozen in the moment it was built.
Access that doesn't depend on privilege
Free to any student, anywhere. Not gated by institution, income, or network.
First-generation students with a real head start
Structured career insight levels the playing field for the students who need it most.
Students who build the infrastructure others rely on
Paid interviewers gain real skills while expanding access for others.
A future where work is never a black box
Every student gets to see what a career actually looks like before they have to choose one.
We partner with organizations that share our mission
From leading universities to non-profits serving first-generation students and underserved communities.
