What does a day in the life of a vice president of Business Development look like?
I think a fair amount of my work involves managing partnerships and relationships with other companies. There's always a contract under negotiation or renewal.
I also manage a team that works with our partners and our Marketplace. I would say my time is split into roughly four parts.
A quarter of my time is spent working with external partners, and another quarter is spent working with the people running the business.
A quarter of my time is dedicated to thinking about the future of these teams and setting goals and objectives to move the company forward. The final quarter is spent digging into specific problems and challenges that come up.
