Transcript

What entry-level positions are there in this field that an undergraduate or graduate student might consider?

As I said prior, I kind of started in the marketing social media kind of realm. I'm now in sales, which I never thought I would do because I started my career with my degree in communications.

That's such a broad thing, and there are so many things you can do with it. I never thought I would end up in sales because I thought I was too introverted for that. But here I am, and it's going well.

So, really, anything in the communications realm, you can start and find yourself in any sort of thing as long as you try hard enough, apply for different things, and see what might fit your jam. There are a lot of sales internships that I wish I had maybe taken in college.

The marketing realm also has a good connection to sales, I would say. And also communications interns, global communications, internal communications – there are so many different communications roles that would really help someone in the industry that I'm in.
