Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Did you have any internships or jobs before your current role?

I graduated from Cal Lutheran in 2020 with a major in Communications and a minor in Multimedia. I was interested in the entertainment industry and interned at NBC Universal and Dreamworks here in LA.

Then, COVID hit, making it very tough to find a job in entertainment. Many roles were shut down, and we're still seeing the impact of the pandemic on jobs, as well as the rise of AI.

Because of this, I had to pivot. I moved into Web3, which I love. The crypto space is wild and fun. Before my current role, I was a Co-Marketing Coordinator at Mythos Studio, a tech startup with ties to Marvel Studios.

My main takeaway is that I did a lot of internships and had to pivot due to the current climate in the tech and entertainment space. I also went through Co-op Careers, which was a huge help in getting me where I am today. They assisted with my resume, interviewing, and job searching, and also provided a support group.

If you are from an underrepresented background or had a Pell Grant, this is a great program to be a part of to support your career journey.
