What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
Right now, I am the president of Freedom Accounting Solutions Inc. I'm handling the onboarding for new clients, meeting with prospects, and evaluating their business needs. I assess where they are and where they need to improve their processes. Then, we provide them with a proposal and they decide if we're a good match.
I also identify which bookkeeper will best assist each client, ensuring it's a good fit for them as well. Currently, I do some of the bookkeeping myself and provide accounting support. This involves meeting with certain clients to review their work and ensure they're on track, and I also handle some of their training.
One of the things I truly enjoy is seeing people grow. If someone has the passion and a desire to grow, I want to help them. I want to walk alongside them because someone did that for me, and I am where I am today because of their support.
So, right now, that's my current role: growing my clients and growing my staff.
