What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
I think one of the things that I enjoy the most is seeing our small business owners thrive and meet their goals.
For example, one client came in and said, "I don't know what I'm doing, but I know I need you." We worked together, and now she's saying, "I'm going to purchase a truck. Can you help me get there?"
We focused on her profit and loss statements and revenue targets. We were able to help her meet those goals. Now, she has rented her own warehouse. It's so fulfilling to see them grow.
At the same time, my staff has been able to learn and grow. One staff member said, "I've never touched QuickBooks. I don't know what I'm doing." Another shared, "I'm an accountant from Mexico, but I never practiced."
We got them started, and they have the enthusiasm to learn and grow. That's what feeds me. That's what I really enjoy about my job.
