What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
The first thing that comes to mind is my team and my manager. I feel really lucky to have worked with a lot of amazing people, but you spend a lot of time at work. It's not usually nine to five in my experience.
Enjoying who you work with, respecting them, and learning from them is really important. I feel really grateful at this point in my career to know that. There were a lot of amazing people along the way.
Some people are more challenging, and you feel the weight of that on a day-to-day basis. So, I think it's important not to underestimate who you surround yourself with. I come from a team sports background, so that's part of my filter as a person in life.
I think it really brings value, and I really appreciate that in my current job. My team and learning every day is different. That was another thing when coming out of college; I wanted to be exposed to different things.
That has totally delivered. Every day is different, and every day is a little bit crazy, but I'm learning. I'm learning every day, so I think there's a lot of value in that.
