What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
In my current role, I sell all of our software products for medical imaging. This includes what's called a PACS system, or Picture Archiving and Communication System.
When radiologists moved from reading films with a viewer to reading them digitally, they put them on a PACS system. I sell PACS systems for radiology, cardiology, and pathology solutions.
I also represent all of our AI products and advanced visualization technology. This allows you to take an MRI or CT scan and manipulate it. You can remove soft tissue to see just bone, or remove bone to see just soft tissue. It's pretty cool stuff.
We even have VR headsets that allow surgeons to manipulate images with their hands in the air while in surgery, without breaking the sterile field. They can scroll through imaging and more.
It's really cool technology. I've always been on the IT side of sales, and I really enjoy what I'm doing.
