What entry-level positions are there in this field that an undergraduate or graduate student might consider?
I think this is also one of the best things about this sales industry. There are so many easy entry points to get into it. In fact, almost everyone starts at the entry-level role, which is usually called a sales development representative or a business development representative.
In this role, your job is either to field inbound leads, like I did when I first started my career, or to cold call and find new clients for the business. It's a really easy career for entry-level individuals.
