Favorite Parts of Being a Banker at a Large Bank

Nobuaki finds the most interesting aspect of their role at the large bank is the opportunity to "go to some big companies like Toyota or Honda" and engage with high-level executives such as CFOs or CEOs in an advisory capacity, a unique experience rarely available outside of similar corporate advisory roles. This access to major corporations and their leadership provides invaluable insights and networking opportunities.

What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?

I think the most enjoyable aspect is that you can actually approach major companies like Toyota, Honda, or Nissan. If there's a branch of General Motors or Tesla, you can go to their business.

There, you might be able to speak with their CFO or CEO. You can offer some kind of advisory. I think that's a rare situation or experience.

I don't think you can do that if you're working outside the company, unless you are a business advisor or corporate advisor.
