Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Did you have any internships or jobs before your current role?
Before working at Mitsui Sumitomo Banking Corporation, I was studying robotics and engineering. I earned my Master's degree in engineering at Keio University in Japan.
My interest in engineering was driven by Mitsui Sumitomo Banking Corporation. It's a company that creates factory robots for other businesses.
After graduating with my Master's degree, I joined the automobile company Mazda Japan as a software engineer. I planned to gain engineering experience before joining my family's corporation.
However, after three years at Mazda Japan, Mitsui Sumitomo Banking Corporation spoke with my father. They suggested I gain some finance background before returning to the family business. They provided me with a two-year opportunity to gain experience in the finance sector. That's how I became involved with Mitsui Sumitomo Banking Corporation.
