What's your biggest challenge in your role?
I think it's managing my time. Certainly, you get a lot of urgent requests for things. It's easy to get over-involved with something.
So it's really trying to be clear for myself on what are the priorities of where I should be personally spending my time and what should I be delegating or just mixing all together. I don't want to waste my people's time either.
So really thinking through, is this something we could do in five minutes or five hours? I'm trying to give them that guidance upfront: don't spend five hours on this; it's a five-minute thing.
So really kind of watching that time, because that's really our most precious asset: our time.
