What does a day in the life of a Director of Business Intelligence look like?
My day usually starts by looking at our project management board. We use a software called Monday to manage our tasks and projects.
The first half of the day is mostly meetings. We talk to our team members about problem-solving technical projects or projects where we're working with various stakeholders. We discuss how to most effectively approach them.
The second half of the day is for focusing on my own work. This usually consists of coding in SQL, data visualization with Tableau, or creating PowerPoint decks to present information to our stakeholders.
