What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
I'd say there are a lot of things I enjoy. I've had many different roles, but overall, the role of being a recruiter, depending on how you pursue it, allows you to learn a lot in a short amount of time.
I've been an in-house recruiter, which is what I am now, and also an agency recruiter. The variety keeps you on your toes, but there are also many aspects of the profession that offer stability.
The key to growing in your career is having a good balance of predictable elements and challenges. This includes small wins that are easy for you, and aspects of your work that challenge you a bit.
I enjoy the variety of clients I work with daily, and I've worked with industries I never expected. You learn so much about people, business, and how the world works.
This profession has definitely pushed me to grow in many areas outside of work as well.
