What have you learned about this role that you wish someone had told you before you entered the industry?
What I would have wished someone told me about the role before I entered the industry was that proficiency in a coding language like R or Python would be really, really helpful. It wasn't required, but it would have been very beneficial.
Also, my military background, specifically teamwork and strategic thinking, could actually be very relevant to the industry and the role I'm working in. Knowing this earlier would have helped me position myself better when interviewing and looking for jobs overall.
