Transcript
Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Did you have any internships or jobs before your current role?
Yes, while in college, I worked for the newspaper for a little while as a journalism major. I was also involved in starting a campus magazine through the Her Campus International website.
After college, I went straight into digital marketing, outside of my bartending career. I worked for an agency that specialized in social campaigns for film and entertainment. I was with that company, McBeard, which was later called Fullscreen, for about four years.
From there, I moved to in-house production at Annapurna Pictures. I continued to work in marketing, but at this point, I was advising more closely on films and working with talent, including celebrities, directors, and producers.
Then, we moved to United Artists Releasing. Annapurna was purchased by MGM under the title United Artists. I stayed there for a total of about four years as well.
From there, I moved to the brand side, where I was doing marketing for a liquor company in San Francisco. I handled marketing for their small but artisanal portfolio. After leaving that role, I went back into entertainment.
I am currently at an agency called Bond Entertainment, where I am a Senior Digital Strategist.
