What is your biggest challenge in your current role?
I'd have to say it's constantly hopping around from project to project. While it's exciting that everything is always changing and there's always something fresh to think on, that can also come with the challenge of running out of ideas and not feeling very fresh in the way that you're conceptualizing.
So, whenever we're preparing for a title, I can be hopping from a true crime docuseries to a romantic comedy to a nature documentary. It can be difficult to jump to those very different genres and switch gears so quickly, and this can happen from hour to hour throughout the day.
That's definitely a challenge. You have to be always on when it comes to being ready to brainstorm creatively and stay focused. I definitely run into some days where I'm just at a loss for coming up with anything new.
