What is your biggest challenge in your current role?

This is going to sound like something I just said, but I think one of the biggest challenges I've had has been transition. I think, at least from my role as a senior consultant, it was bridging the gap between the consultant/analyst and the commander.

Something that I struggled with a lot personally was making that transition. It was about knowing when to stop being an individual contributor and when to delegate to team members.

I don't know if this is typical for a lot of people, but for me, I had spent three or four years being an individual contributor, doing everything, being very hands-on. Learning to let go of some of that and pass things on to other people, give them the chance to learn, was very difficult for me.
