What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
Long-range planning encompasses everything about a company. This can be big and daunting, but it's also why I enjoy it. We get a bird's-eye view of the entire landscape.
I really enjoy understanding where Patagonia fits within the general outdoor industry and how that industry is progressing. I also like understanding the complexities of how many people are involved and who needs to be in the room. This is important to move really big, daunting decisions forward.
Being able to tap into the general strategy and collaborate with so many different groups is really fun for me.
