What does a day in the life of a CEO and PhD student look like?
That is a great question. I remember I kept reviewing it, and no day looks familiar. It's kind of like a rollercoaster; some days are slower than others, and some days are really fast. This week has been crazy.
Typically, I broke two of my legs in 2021, and then I broke my leg again in May of last year. So, I put my health above everything, which I did not use to do. My first commitment in the morning is usually yoga, and then I attend physical therapy about three times a week.
I get my day started with some kind of movement, which then sets me up for the rest of my day. After physical therapy, I come home and work on homework or with my website developer for different content.
Then I typically have coaching calls. I'll go to USG to coach or do it via Zoom from home. I'll either have class at night or go to one of my Bible studies in the evening. I'm part of four different networking groups, so we meet usually every Thursday, Friday, and sometimes on Tuesdays.
So, it's a mix of networking, school projects, website work, and health stuff. My main focus is the PhD program, which is very intellectually demanding, so I'm writing a lot of papers and doing research projects. Second would be my company, but once I'm done with the PhD program, I'll obviously be focused on my business full-time.
It's a pretty good variety of things, but I definitely have to put my health first and take that very seriously.
