Biggest Challenges for a Senior Analyst, Strategy and Analytics at SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park
Jeff's biggest challenge as a Sr. Analyst at SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park is wrangling data from disparate sources, like the "four different ways that you can essentially buy a ticket," to create a "single uniform database." The inability of these systems to communicate, due to being "almost like competitors," makes it difficult to answer seemingly simple questions about revenue and parking lot usage, hindering effective strategic analysis.

What is your biggest challenge in your role?
I would say having data from different sources is a challenge. For example, at SoFi Stadium, there are four different ways to buy a ticket.
None of those systems talk to each other because they are competing for land and parking garages. Trying to get all of that data into a single, uniform database to answer questions like how much money was made in parking yesterday, or how busy a lot was in the last three weeks, is very difficult.
This is because the situation changes almost for every event.
