What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?
I think what I enjoy most about being in my current role differs from all the past jobs I've ever had. This current role allows me to have some creative input and some ability to speak about the direction where I would like to see things go, even if it's only in my product.
It's really fun when things aren't only being dictated to you, like a one-way relationship. I also get to have feedback. I can look down the road a couple of years and say, "This is where things appear to be going. There's a lot more cloud, there's a lot more AI. What if we tried to leverage those things and go here?"
So, it allows me to feel like I have some say over what I'm doing. It allows me to pursue things I'm interested in and passionate about, and it allows me to learn. All the things I was talking about, I don't want every day to be the same.
This job is kind of the very beginning of your duties and responsibilities. You have some responsibility and some creative input there.
