What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?

I really enjoy the people at the entity I work with, Shapeshift. Everyone there is super chill, very open, and very friendly. The environment is great, and it's remote.

Being remote, I'm in a room by myself right now. Fundamentally, as a human, I should feel alone. However, I still feel very much included, very much like working alongside people as if we're in the office.

The cool thing is I can pet my cat, get a sandwich from my fridge, or put some ribs on the barbecue and smoke them while I'm working. It's remote done well. I can work synchronously with people, or if I need to take someone to the airport, I can go do that.

That's what I enjoy the most: the flexibility, but also the ability to feel like I'm part of something, even though I'm in a very alone physical space.
