**Q2: Main responsibilities**
What are the main responsibilities within your current role?
Currently, I work with patients, and my main responsibilities include providing hearing care to adults. I work with a few kids, but it's primarily adults—about 95% adults and 5% kids.
My day is basically seeing patients back-to-back. I test their hearing. If they have a hearing loss, I counsel them about the results and recommend hearing devices. If they are ready to proceed, I fit them with hearing aids and then provide follow-up care. I see these patients again, I would say, three to four times a year to provide adjustments on their current devices. That's the main job responsibility that I have.
In addition to that, I've also been helping the practice with a little bit of marketing, trying to get more patients because it has to be a growing practice to grow in my career. So, I'm basically helping them with marketing. There are some community outreach activities that we do, so that's a little bit of additional responsibility.
