What is your biggest challenge in your current role?
Coming out of the classroom and entering the corporate world is a challenge all its own. Being a career transitioner is the biggest challenge, understanding business jargon, like KPIs, and renewal processes and upselling.
These skills are transferable and definitely coachable, teachable. Things are challenging for me, especially right now because they are so new. I may have been doing the exact thing of upselling with a student, but I would never call it upselling. Transferring that to customers and clients with a product has been a very large challenge.
Also, working from home presents being a self-starter. That could be a challenge, and also getting used to creating my own structure. I believe a lot of people desire to create their own structure, but it is more than just saying that. It's actually keeping yourself on a regimen and having the discipline to structure and prioritize your day.
