What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?
One lesson I've learned is not to beat yourself up. Sometimes you're going to get turned down a lot by a potential client. You just have to realize that no matter how much you know your stuff, no matter how wise you are in finance and investments, or how much of a people person you are, you're going to run into someone who will just turn you down.
There's nothing you could have done about it. So definitely don't beat yourself up. For every step back, take two steps forward.
