As someone who identifies as a veteran, how has that impacted how you've navigated your career?

It has created a positive impact on how I navigate my career. Right after high school, I joined the Marines and did four years as an infantryman.

Even though there was no direct correlation between learning economics and finance and then working in finance, it definitely shaped my work ethic and adaptability. I think that had I not been a Marine, I would have given up in this industry much sooner.

The perseverance, adaptability, and desire to overcome challenges that were instilled in me in the Marine Corps have definitely stayed with me throughout college. This includes majoring in economics, taking upper division econ classes that weren't easy, and finding success in this industry.

This success includes passing industry exams, moving forward after being shut down by a potential client, and creating success in this industry. I owe it all to the Marine Corps.
