What skills are most important for a job like yours?

To be a CEO, I think you really need to be comfortable in your own skin. You need to know who you are and be willing to approach people with your fullest self. Not be wavered by what people tell you or society, because as an entrepreneur, I'm taking a pretty untraditional path.

People like to project some of their insecurities onto me. I need to know myself and know why I'm doing what I'm doing so that I don't let people sway me. I think that's one.

Two is resiliency. As an entrepreneur, there are highs and there are lows. It's a roller coaster, and you just have to keep on riding the wave. You can't get caught up in the highs or quit at the lows.

Finally, creativity. I think it's really important to think outside the box and do things that other people wouldn't do. Do things that other people are scared of doing. That's what differentiates a company.

And finally, it's just bringing a good attitude. I think my positivity, especially as a Certified Happiness Trainer, means my energy can be contagious and that can inspire others.
