What are some of the biggest challenges in your current role?
Absolutely. I think any job has its challenges, and that's what makes it fun: problem-solving, figuring out how to overcome those challenges. That being said, I'm at a much bigger company now, so things move a little slower and are a bit more measured.
It is a company that really prizes growth and moving quickly, but it's inevitable in any big company that things are going to move at a different pace. So, being someone that likes to get scrappy and figure things out and problem-solve on the fly, sometimes the pace of business or the rhythm of the business can be a little slower than what I'm used to.
But it's a new challenge. It's something that I've got to learn how to operate in, manage up in, and find success. So, it's one that I'm enjoying taking on and trying to figure out.
I'm also in the process of integrating the company I'm at into another big company. That just brings some challenges. And it's a weird kind of economic environment right now, so that just brings another host of challenges. So, lots of challenges, but good problems to solve.
