As someone who identifies as a woman, how has that impacted how you've navigated your career?

I would say for me, it definitely depends on the industry. When I was in sports, it was a very male-dominated industry. Even the roles at the top, within the offices of the franchises, the people at the top were always men.

I feel like that can be a little discouraging, especially when you're a young woman trying to find your career path and figure yourself out. That's definitely something that can be hard.

But I feel like you have to look at those situations as motivation. You want to work to be in that spot and bring representation, bring female representation within that industry. I think that's a better way to look at it than being discouraged, which I understand can be really discouraging. But that's how I try to look at it.

Right now, I definitely don't work in a male-dominated industry, but I would say it definitely depends. In sports, I did see a lot of men at the top. For me, I thought to myself, "One day I want to be someone at the top," represent women all over who deserve a spot at the top in the sports industry.
