What is one lesson that you have learned that has proven significant in your career?
I would say I'm going to make this a two-part answer. The first part is to be patient, especially with the current job market. It might take a little to find something, but the time and energy you put in is worth it, and you will find something eventually.
When I was doing my job search fresh out of school, I didn't settle and I didn't slow down. I waited until I found the role that was perfect for me in growing my career, and it took months. It actually took about a year to fully find. So start that search early and don't give up.
Second is really your network and the connections that you have. It's going to be much easier to infiltrate an industry when you have that personal connection, and that's how I've been able to land all of my roles that I've had.
