What are your main responsibilities within your current role?

In my current role, I'm on the acquisitions team for a company. We are in charge of buying assets for an investment fund.

This ranges from any kind of property type, from multifamily, industrial, retail, and office. We also do development as well.

Right now, as an analyst, we assist with the underwriting. This entails projecting the financial performance of an asset and seeing what kind of cash flow we might receive and the returns we should expect.

Our main role in acquisitions is to underwrite these assets. If they're viable for our fund, we can go through the buying process.

We also keep up with current markets, conduct research and due diligence, and stay on top of the market. I think that's a big part of the role as well.
