What is one lesson you have learned that has proven significant in your career?
One lesson I've learned that has taken me through every job I've had is to always be open-minded with who you're speaking with and to be personable. I'm not only talking to candidates, who are all different, but I'm also talking to hiring managers.
These hiring managers come from all different departments and walks of life. They have different personalities, so you might not get along with every personality you work with.
However, I've learned to always remain professional, always assess my audience, and to just be friendly no matter what. Being in HR, we kind of hold the standard for that.
So, I always make sure that I'm friendly to everybody and helpful. I don't give anyone a reason to have a negative thing to say about me.
