What entry-level positions are there in this field that an undergraduate or graduate student might consider?
I think depending on the company, there are multiple opportunities to get into recruiting. Personally, I started at the front desk at the company where I first began recruiting.
I did a lot of the check-ins for interviews and other tasks. After that, I was able to move up to a recruiter role.
In some of my past jobs, we've had talent acquisition associates who moved over from different roles because they were interested in HR and recruiting. I also know there are HR internships where you can start with onboarding and then move your way up.
These are some of the roles I know you can get into recruiting through, and some things that helped me get into the field as well.
