Could you walk me through your career path, starting with your experiences in college? Please include any internships or jobs you had before your current role.
After graduating high school, I was unsure about my career path, but I knew I always wanted to help people. I applied to a local call center for a front desk position in their recruiting department. This role helped me build my customer service skills.
Eventually, I was promoted to a recruiter at that same company. That experience jumpstarted my career in recruiting, and I was lucky to find something I loved. I enjoyed talking to people daily, helping them with their career goals, and finding them positions.
After leaving the call center, I stayed in recruiting and HR and moved into the healthcare field. This is where I found my passion for working with people, helping them, and discussing their passions. I enjoyed placing them in suitable positions and learning about their career aspirations.
I’ve stayed in recruiting ever since and truly love it. I enjoy talking to people daily, interviewing them, assisting with their skills, and placing them in jobs they love. That’s why I’ve been doing recruiting ever since.
