What does a day in the life of a senior director of sales look like?
You send tons of emails, tons and tons and tons of emails. That's probably the one activity I do the most of, besides taking calls with these clients that I'm trying to talk to, right?
I say that with a bit of jest, but it's true. Those emails can't just be blown out there. You have to do your research about who you want to meet with.
Send them notes that make sense for their business and why they, in particular, need to be talking to me and working with our product. So that's the goal there.
Generally, I want to set as many calls and meetings as possible because the more I put in the top of my sales funnel, the more we'll eventually squeeze out the bottom. Not all of them are going to get there. So the more you put in at the top, it gives you a better chance of closing more at the end.
