What do you enjoy most about being in your current role?

My current role, what I enjoy the most about my career in banking and finance is being able to help my clients. Most of them are small business owners.

It sounds simple, like giving them a loan or helping them buy real estate, but you're really helping them grow their business. When you drive by an apartment complex you helped finance, or a business that just bought a new industrial building for manufacturing, you feel proud you could help that business owner.

As you drive around town, you get to know a lot of different people in different industries, and that's a fun aspect of the job. Currently, I enjoy helping my team do those same things.

I help them navigate with their clients and different types of deals and clients, from hotel operators to restaurant owners to real estate developers. We get to help a lot of different people. I think that's the most fun for me – learning different industries and businesses.
