What do you enjoy most about being in your industry?
As a banker, the thing I enjoy the most about this industry is helping businesses and people grow and get the things they need. I also enjoy being there as an advisor.
As a business banker, we get to work with tons of different businesses and industries, from manufacturing to real estate to CEPA firms or insurance companies. It's fun getting to know all the different businesses and people.
Overall, it's rewarding to help grow the economy of the community you live in. You get to see that firsthand when you drive down the street and see the businesses you've helped.
You might see your fingerprints on local businesses, like an auto shop you helped finance or a mortgage lender whose business you helped get off the ground with a small business loan. As a community banker, you get to see your impact throughout your community.
