What have you learned about this role that you wish someone had told you before you started?
This is a good reminder for when things are going badly, or rather, when I'm having a rough day. My colleagues always say, "Amy, you're not saving lives. You're just selling ads."
This really resonates when I'm stressed or when there's a P1 issue, a huge problem that requires us to wake up colleagues in Beijing to solve. It's like, "Hey, you're just serving ads. They're seeing a slate for 10 seconds. It's okay."
