What have you learned about this role that you wish someone would have told you before entering the industry?

I would say I wish someone had told me that it's very much a lifestyle, especially in the role of brokerage as a vice president. It's not going to be something where you work eight to five and clock out, and that's done for the day.

For the people who really thrive in this industry as brokers, they commit to it as a lifestyle, which obviously comes with pros and cons. The good thing is that when it's a lifestyle, you hopefully surround yourself with people who also enjoy real estate. They're able to get to know you on a personal and professional level.
