Q8: Who thrives in industry?
How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?
I would say people who typically thrive in the industry are very persistent and clear with their goals. They are relentless in achieving them, and they are willing to adapt.
The quicker you're able to adapt in these dynamic markets, the better you'll be in the long run. One of the greatest pieces of advice I've received from mentors is that commercial real estate, especially brokerage, is a long-term game.
It's not the best industry if you want a get-rich-quick job. It's more of a long, 5, 10, or 20-year pursuit. If you stay, work hard, remain persistent, and are clear and concise with your goals, it will pay you handsomely in the long run.
