What are your main responsibilities within your current role as Vice President?
My main role, or my main duties as a vice president, is simply revenue generation. A vice president at my company in the debt and structured finance department is essentially a commercial mortgage broker.
So, it's a mixture between sales and finance. My day-to-day is a mixture of going out and winning business, winning financing business for clients that need refinancing or financing on their commercial property.
The finance element comes in where we underwrite the property and shop it to lenders to execute the financing on behalf of our clients.
