What would you enjoy most about being in the airline industry?
One of the things I love about this is that you feel good about what you're doing. Everyone can question what they're doing, because it's just the nature of doing things. Every business needs to plan.
You don't necessarily have to love finance to understand why it's good. Specifically, the reason for me is that today, I'm connecting people. I'm connecting people across the world, connecting families across the country or businesses from Los Angeles to New York, Tokyo, or London.
I love that aspect of connecting cultures and different people. Of course, we have Zoom, which is great. But there is something tangible about meeting people in person, experiencing a new culture for the first time.
When I was younger, before I worked here, the feeling of getting off a plane and being in a new place was so exciting. I love thinking that people are experiencing that because of what I do.
Personally, I love to travel. So, I love that the people I work with also love to travel. It's fun to hear about the trips people are taking and where they're going, because there's a culture of travel and wanting to experience the world, which I really love about this.
