What is your biggest challenge in your current role?
The biggest challenge in my role is not having the time to do everything that I would like to do. There are so many moving parts within organizations.
I think the biggest thing for a successful leader, no matter their job role, is to have some patience. Even if you can see the pathway forward, it may actually be detrimental if you go too fast.
It's about slowing down, understanding the needs, understanding the why, and bringing other people along with that. That may just take a lot longer than what you hope. I'm always faced with the challenge of being patient in some of the things that we would like to deliver in our jobs.
