What do you enjoy most about being in your current role as a sourcing manager?
I really enjoy working with suppliers. It's fun to work with people from different companies, curate that relationship, and learn about other businesses and how interconnected we all are.
At the end of the day, you can work your hardest and things can go really well, but you're also hyper-dependent on all these other customers, suppliers, and different companies in this business web. It is fun engaging with a company.
If we didn't have a good relationship with them and they didn't give us raw materials, we wouldn't be able to produce product. They're an equally important part of the supply chain as we are as a food manufacturer.
So, I'd say working with external folks every day is one of the things I enjoy most.
