Q8: Who thrives in industry?

How would you describe people who typically thrive in this industry?

I think people that thrive in, and I'll just speak broadly to finance and accounting, really enjoy the work. They find a company's funds interesting and they understand it well.

They're also technically pretty savvy. People that are very successful are very good with not just Excel, but also PowerPoint. Word is pretty simple, but being proficient with Microsoft products is very important.

The people that are most successful are very good communicators. They are constantly able to communicate what's on their mind and if they're struggling, what they're struggling with. Being very transparent and honest is very important. Ultimately, if you're not honest and transparent, then you're going to probably struggle in finance.
