Transcript
What are your main responsibilities within your current role?
My current role is to coordinate an initiative called Early Alert. Early Alert is a tool that faculty can use to send us information about a student who is struggling in their courses. This can be due to performance, attendance, or mental health issues.
I receive these alerts and then, in my office, we forward them to the different support services that can assist the student. My responsibilities include navigating all the alerts, sending them to the appropriate location, and ensuring students get the services they need to stay in class and succeed in their semester.
