What do you enjoy most about your current role?
What I enjoy most about my current role is twofold. First, the opportunity. Finance is an instrumental foundation for any business decision.
When you start in finance, your opportunities are endless because you get to understand how business works and the financial decisions a company has to make to grow. Whether you want to move outside of finance or grow within it, it's possible.
My second reason for enjoying my current role is the people I work with. You'll hear this often, but I do think that the people you work with are the people you learn from.
When you're surrounded by people who have different backgrounds, experiences, and work in different functions, you learn about what you could do in the future. Also, people who have worked longer can help you navigate your company or explore different career paths outside the company. The people really make working where I work fun.
