Could you walk me through your career path? Please start with your experiences in college, and any internships or jobs you had before your current role.

I started at Emory University, where I learned about their buyer program. That's what really piqued my curiosity.

I then transferred to ASU and studied finance. There, I learned more about different backgrounds and job paths. I thought finance would tie in well with buying.

After graduating, I started as a buying assistant at CBRE. There aren't many fashion companies based in Arizona, so breaking into the industry was a bit hard. I thought the buying assistant title would help me transition to fashion.

During the pandemic, I took advice from career sites to reach out directly on LinkedIn. I contacted the VP of buying and merchandising at Revolve for an informational interview to learn how to break into the industry.

The conversation opened up to the possibility of working there. I passed along my resume, and that's how I got the job.
